I bought the super shears about 4 months ago, and they are great. No more trying to make poorly designed "all purpose" scissors work in the kitchen. I love that these disassemble so easily and go in the dishwasher. I have warned my family not to take these shears out of "my space" to use for anything else. Great product.
I have had these for over fifteen years. I have never had them sharpened and they go in dishwasher at least four times per week since i have owned them. They cut chicken bones, lobster shells, chicken, steak when i am cubing it for stew, as well as paper, and any other cause that i may have for scissors. They are easy to clean as they come apart. I am actually online right now to purchase them as a gift for a friend. These shears are a MUST
I purchased my Super Shears over 10 years ago and I use them for EVERYTHING! I have a pair for the kitchen and my husband has a pair for every other use. We've used them for trimming fat, quartering a chicken, and cutting meats into strips. We use our everyday pair for cutting open packaging (especially those hard to open bubble packs), breaking down cardboard boxes. Also, when we get a package in the mail, we pull the two blades apart and use one as a faux "box cutter" to cut through the tape. Truly a versatile item!

Best Scissors
I just purchased my second pair of SUPER SHEARS so that I have one to travel with and one to leave at home. I absolutely love these shears. My first pair still works great after 8 years. These scissors can cut through tougher materials that cheaper scissors cant handle. I have even used them for gardening to prune my roses and other smaller branches. The best feature is that you can take them apart to clean them, which is so handy after cutting things like raw chicken. You dont have to worry about germs hanging out between the blades up near the handle. Plus I love how tough these scissors are and that they dont wear out.
