I have gutted and deboned over 30 deer with my clip point DD edged Cutco knife and it's STILL razor sharp. I have never seen such a well made, great all around knife. I have debreasted around 10 turkeys and 50 geese with the knife as well. This knife is truly amazing and I don't have one negative thing to say about it. I would pay 100+ for this knife to replace it if I had to. I will not clean a deer with any other knife. This knife will EASILY cut through any ribcage (from yearlings to 5 y/o bucks).

Best Knife I've owned
This knife is a great hunting knife. I've cleaned countless deer and hog over the past few years. It's still very sharp. I'm sending it back to get sharpened, because there's no way I can get it as sharp as they do. I highly recommend this knife. I have the straight edge, not the DD.

Unbelievable Hunting Knife
I had gotten one of the hunting knives and absolutely loved it. It is both durable and effective. My brother watched me in action with it and was totally impressed. I ended up getting him one for a Christmas present, and he was totally grateful.
We have a set of cutco knives for the kitchen too, and I would never buy another brand of knife under any circumstance. Keep up the strong work, as you have a customer for life!

hunting knife
I have collected hunting knifes over the last 30 years and this knife is one of the best I have ever used. It was great for field dressing a deer as well as skinning. I have problems with maintaining the sharpness of the knife from field dressing to actual skinning. Most times I use two different knifes or have sharpen during the process. I would recommend for any hunter to have one of these knifes.

NOT IMPRESSED!
Bought a drop point and a clip point at Hunt Fest. I used the drop point to field dress 2 white tail deer. This knife already needs sharpening! You can feel the edge bent over to the side! I used to buy a $12.00 knife from MEC which keeps its edge better than this piece of JUNK! Am I to send it in after every 2-3 uses? Had a great edge on the first deer but then it just went dull. NOT IMPRESSED!!

Gr8 knife
I received this as a gift in the early 90's. Sharpened it twice, via Cutco. It has cleaned numerous deer, cut down numerous tree branches and done everything I've asked, even saved my treestand from being permanently up a tree!. It has cut off tires even. The Double D edge is tops. If you need to sharpen that after one deer, then your shooting statues.

TO GOOD TO BE TRUE
I was told this was a good sharp knife. My first hunting trip, skinned my animal it was dull. Now, I have to ship it to cutco at my expense both ways. I have only had it two months. Not good!

The One
I have owned this knife since 1993. I can't count how much I have used this hunting. Not only is it a great knife, the grarantee is the topper. Last year I sent it in to get sharpened, and they sent me back a totally new knife. I don't recall the reason, but what service!! This purchase is a no brainer.

Sharp
I have had this knife for 13 years my wife gave it to me as a christmas gift in 1996 and I have used it on over 25 deer and it is still as sharp as it was on the first deer I used it on. Thanks for a great product.

Best knife on the market
I have owned this knife for several years now. I have field dressed 8 elk, 12 deer, and 12 wild hogs so far and I have never sharpen the knife. Knives of this quality are very rare and I would highly recommend this knife to anyone who is looking to buy a knife. So far 6 people I know have them and they all love the knife.

Never a doubt
I have owned two of these knives over the past 5 or so years and they are as dependable as having to use the restroom when you get up in the morning! The first one I bought when a sales rep did a presentation in a garage full of hunters after a long days hunt. We tried to tear up everything he had but every knife he brought out hung right in there. These knives are TRULY indestructible, dependable and worthy of every hunter to own at least one. I guarantee I have field dressed and skinned out well over 100 deer with these knives and they CONTINUE to hold an edge. I do take advantage of CUTCO's lifetime sharpening and cleaning promise and have yet to have a problem with either of them. 5 stars isn't enough, they deserve 10.

Great knife
I have had this knife for about 10+ years I can't remember when I got it, but it is definitely the best hunting knife I have owned. It has been used to field dress 5-6 Elk and 4-5 Deer and has not been sharpened yet. I am sending it in this year to be sharpened but it really does not need it. I just want to see how sharp it comes back. it has lost a little bit of sharpness over the years but it is still deadly sharp.

Best Hunting Knife Ever
I have had this knife for three years. It has field-dressed and processed 4 animals and still is as sharp as ever. My father and brother now want one. Thanks for making such a fabulous product.

Best knife ever
I have used this hunting knife for ten years. It is by far the best hunting knife I have ever used. It is an excellent tool for the quick and efficient field dressing of deer.
