Ultimate in Useful Purchases
I have now purchased a number of different Cutco knife sets as gifts for others, and for our own use. This Ultimate Entertainer set is by far the full complement of cutlery that anyone would ever need. The price for the product received was an excellent value. We are extremely pleased with all of our Cutco products!

Sold them, use them, love them
I sell CUTCO currently and have done so for over two years. When I began, I was only 17 and never cooked, however due to the quality of the product as well as my customers thanking me, I became curious to actually use them myself, and I am amazed at how easy they make cooking. I am still an amateur aspiring chef, however at least my cuts are always clean haha. Great product at a great value, I'm proud to say all my friends and family own it as well.

Best Knifes Ever
I know many people and relatives that have purchesed this set, They have never had a problem with the blades dulling and every few years they have them sharpened for free. Though most of my family members say that even if they were never sharpened they would still be the sgarpest knifes they have ever owned, they also claim that the handels are the best grip they have ever had on a knife.

30 Years & Cutco is Still the Best
I purchased my set of Cutco knives 30 years ago. I have had them sharpened once 10 years ago ~ it was super quick and easy. Cutco replaced one knife that had a tiny chip on the tip (although I had not requested this be done) and they replaced my kitchen shears with a new pair (again, I had not request this be done). When I sent my knives in for re-sharpening, Cutco inspected each carefully, sharpened each one so they looked and cut like new knives and replaced any item that was not up to their standards of performance with a new piece. When I got my knives back, it was like getting the set brand new all over again, yet, they were my same dear old friends that hang out with me in my kitchen. This is a company that deserves EVERY bit of the customer loyalty they enjoy because they stand behind their promises. If every business globally followed their model, what an amazing world we would live in. If I could give Cutco more that 5 stars, I would.

An Investement You'll Use For A Lifetime
As a college student I saw a demonstration of Cutco cutlery and said one day I would own some. When I got a job I was able to get a knife or two and later upgrade to a block set. From the very first knife I bought I have always had excellent results with every Cutco product I've owned.
But I always wanted the full set of knives for all aspects of my cooking as well as their beautiful flatware on which to serve meals. This set is a significant investment but one of the best purchases I've ever made. The variety of knives coveres all your cooking needs and if you're familiar with and love their knives, you'll feel just the same about the flatware.
This is truly an investment for a lifetime. Other products offer "lifetime" guarantees. However, the government defines lifetime as "product lifetime," not your lifetime and is limited to a short number of years. Cutco guarantees they will service and maintain their products "forever." I know not one single company other than Cutco who offers this outstanding offer. After years of use I sent some of my older knives in to be sharpened. I was surprised to find Cutco only asks you to ship the knives and pay a few dollars no matter the number of items you send in. I've always loved their products but their service is above and beyond my expectations.
As their largest set, this is a big investment to make. But it is an investment you'll enjoy it for the rest of your life.

I LOVE my Cutco!!!
I first asked my fiancee', now husband if he minded if i made this huge investment... and he said, " so even when you're 80, you'll never need to buy another knife.. i said, "nope!". So i did it and i love them... i use them every single day.... I"m so glad that i spent the money when i did, because i will have these forever and because they are guaranteed for life, i use them to their fullest potential.

The Best Knives in the World
I'm writing this review under the Ultimate Block section since that's pretty much what I've built. Like many, I became a believer (i.e. fanatic) and bought new knives as I needed them (or not). I eventually had to buy the big block to hold them all and now have the "Ultimate Set" plus plenty of spillover. These knives are simply the finest made and I wouldn't trade them for any other knives in the world. Start a family heirloom today and start buying Cutco. It will be passed down for many generations to come and will be valued by all that handle it.

Best 40 year old purchase ever
I albsolutely have loved my knives since I purchased them just out of high school. I use them every day. Recently, I had them sharpened for the first time and what a wonderful experience. The guarantee is perfect. I needed to replace my paring knife, but because of the difference in the new handle and the old handle (which I had), it wouldn't fit into my slot. I was amazed that the knife could be replaced with the old handle. Thank you, Cutco, I do so love the product and have always recommended them to anyone in my kitchen.

Food prepared from any other kitchen gets jealous!
People thought I was crazy because we invested more $$ in this set than some people spend on used cars. I was thinking I was crazy... till we received them. We spent hundreds on other sets that seemed to never stay sharp, and eventually wind up at the good will store, We took the plunge. Yes it was a huge investment, but not when you consider what you get. With many products first impressions make you feel like you got a deal... for about a year, then at that point in time, the lesser sets start to show their limitations. This set which we have had for a year still feels amazing, and performs way beyond any expections. We only entertain occasionally on weekends, but I feel like if the need arose we could use this set as a tool to cater a multi course meal in the most extravagent setting I could imagine. After having enjoyed such an amazing set with just about every conceivable tool, I now realize this set would be very much at home as the centerpiece of a very advanced culinary environment in the finest of resteraunts and cruise ships. Would I buy this work of art agian. Definately. But if funds were short, I'd still get a set, even if it was the smallest set they offered. I would rather have one of these knives to 10 of anyone elses.

#1 Knives, The Best!!
I use to work with Vector Marketing Selling Cutco, and when I did the presentations I was impressed everytime. This product is amazing. What other types of scissors does anyone know, other than Cutco, that can cut into a penny? NONE!! I know. As many knives as I've seen in my life I'm proud to say cannot top Cutco, not even close!!!
