LOVE these knives
I don't know how I ever got along without these knives. They are WONDERFUL! These three knives take care of most of my cutting needs. They are a great investment! No other brand of knives even come close to the quality and performance of these knives!

Best gift for the couple who has everything!
My cousin got married to the man she's been living with the past 15 years. Didn't want to give them $$, but didn't want to give them nothing. Cutco to the rescue! As it turns out, they love Cutco and were thrilled by the gift.
I rated the "Sharpness" and "Quality" based on presumption; I have no idea what shape the knives are in, but really...? It's CUTCO! Of course they're wonderful!
My only complaint has to do with the gift-wrapping offer online. I paid the extra $5 and asked for a card(? or was it a Special Message?) to be enclosed, but had the gift shipped to me. The box arrived quickly and with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. I opened the box and saw the gift set box nicely wrapped in silver paper, and the invoice. I hoped a card/special message would be inside the wrapped box. (I later found out it was not.) My clever words of a "happy and safe marriage" were not with the gift box, but on the invoice inside the shipping box. Very disappointing, especially after having to pay wrapping costs (and taxes, and shipping...).
In no way will this deter me from purchasing Cutco for future gifts, but I certainly didn't expect my special message to be delivered on the Invoice. Very cheesy for a beautiful gift from a fabulous company.

Kitchen Classics a great starter set
I bought this set as a wedding gift for my 25-year-old niece. I received my first Cutco knife, a French knife, in 1967, and I still use it all the time. Give Cutco knives and people will never forget you. And young people don't have the money to pay for what they'd call expensive knives, so their elders must provide.

BEST KNIVES EVER
I have a drawer full of knives that are always dull and always need to be sharpened. I have three Cutco knives and never use my other knives and they are awesome, comfortable and well worth the money!

Waited too long...
My home was the last in the family to have Cutco knives. I love the comfort of the handles during use, sharpness, etc. I could go on and on! I'm looking forward to expanding my knives until I have the whole set.

Great knives to start with
I got a set similar to this for myself 25 years ago, and I've been using and adding to it every since. These are wonderful knives! This time I bought it for my son as a housewarming gift. He appreciates quality, and was thrilled to get such a high quality set of knives. I highly recommend Cutco to anyone in the market for fine knives. I have had other knives over the years, including some of the "best" European varieties, but I've thrown all of those out, and I'm still using my Cutco!

Still going strong
I got my first piece of Cutco over 40 years ago as a wedding gift. I now have the whole set and do not go a day without using one piece or another.
Would I recomment them? Without a doubt!

Spoiled on Cutco
I first learned about Cutco selling the product part time in North Carolina in 2001. I wasn't that dedicated, but I can tell you I will never buy another brand of knife. I traded my seller's kit to my landlord for a month's rent in my junior year of college (and still regret it!), but I still had one of the steak knives. I've used it about 4 times a week for everything cooking related (and a few things that weren't... it's been used a few times also for vacuum repair) and it never needed sharpening. The pearl handle did get a little discolored from turmeric, but that spice is also used in Asia to dye fabric, so I'm not surprised. That was the best, toughest knife I've ever owned. It only broke a few weeks ago when I really lost my temper and I threw it in the sink as hard as I could and broke the blade. Alot of these companies trade on flashy infomercials and brand advertising, but none of that stuff lasts or is half as good as they say it is. I'm willing to pay a little more for a a product that 's made with American craftsmanship and has its quality shown by someone you know. Plus, I know with Cutco, It's always sharp and I don't have to replace it every 3 years. Cutco is worth saving for and it's a practical gift you give people that are important to you. It lasts long enough to pass down to your children. It's a pain not being able to buy it online or in a store, but I guess that's how they preserve their integrity.

Everyone should get a set!
My husband sold these knives part time in 1973 and I wouldn't trade my set ever and it still looks and functions great after 36 years. I've bought the knives as gifts for my children to use in their kitchens also. If you have a quality product it makes the task at hand so much easier and fun. The super shears is a fantastic tools and I bought those shears as gifts for other family members and they still love it and it still cuts perfectly. The service of having the knives sharpened is so simple and worth it to keep your set fine tuned and working at its best. Cutco products are like an energizer bunny it keeps on working! It's worth it!!

handles too large
I have small hands and so do my daughters.
Most knives have handles that are toolarge and uncomfortable for us,these being no exception. I have even had your sales people I must be holding the knife wrong. When your hands are small it makes using a paring knife impossible because the blade is too far from the thumb unless we hold the knife up close and the large bump on the handle is painful .
I like the quality and selection, but they are too darn big.

I Was Skeptical
My boss had his son who was selling this product come in and schedule demonstrations with staff. I felt obligated to buy something. I was very skeptical at first, but shortinly into the demonstration and being able to use the product during the demonstration I was a believer. Glad I felt obligated.

Incredible products
I have owned Cutco since the late 70's! Door to door intro., and my older son's first job was to sell Cutco in 88, because he'd grown up with them. I have a large collection (at least a doz. knives alone-not counting the steak knives), and wouldn't trade any of the pieces for another product. I am always recommending them to friends, and they tend to be my standard wedding gift when friend's children get married! One of my all time favorites is the spatula/spreader!!!!!!!!!!

The Best
The first time I owned CutCO was 1978, a sales person came to my door, and I was really amazed to see what these knives could do. I still have my knives and scissors, but I did buy 3 more individual items around 1996 or 1997. There is NO better product then CutCO :-)

good choice
it is over 10 years that I had a cutco knife when I visited in US and this is the second time to purchase other items such as cookware and I would like to present the kitchen classics to my relatives.
