Love my Spatula Spreader
The spatula spreader is my all-time favorite Cutco knife.....I use it for everything!!! It is also my favorite gift for birthdays, showers, etc. For weddings and anniversaries I usually purchase the spatula spreader and trimmer gift pack (under $100) and have them engraved with the couples' initials as a special touch.

EXCELLENT
When I was deciding which set of knives to get, I went to myself "what would I use this for?", Well as I sat there thinking, my favorite sandwich is peanut butter and fluff (still a kid at heart). Now, with my butter knives, it is hard to get enough fluff on the knife for even a 1/4 of the slice of bread (it has a tendency to roll off the top edge). This thing, scoops up just the perfect amount, and then spreads it evenly. Would never let this thing go.
I use this product for:peanut butter and fluff

Love this Tool
I had purchased cutco knives to help a girl working her way through college. I bought the basic set. I thought they were expensive at the time. Well my husband and I have had them for about 6 years. I had never used this tool. in 2011 I was at a festival and saw cutco rep. well I had lost a steak knive so I wanted a new one. Well he came out an sharpened my knives and I bought more knives. I can not imagine a kitchen without cutco. But he explained the uses of this and I have used it ever since. I even had one ingraved and use it when i take food places so no one will get my spatula. I highly recommend these knives.

My favorite kitchen tool
I've owned this spatula for more than 15 years ... used it for EVERYTHING, from frosting cakes to cutting chicken bones ... and it really is just as sharp and dependable as Day One. Can't beat it for cutting that first piece of pie, slicing through a pan of brownies, sauteing onions, slicing crusty bread ... the list goes on and on! Honestly, the young man who sold it to me and described it as a "bachelor spatula" (because it's the one tool that can be used for virtually anything) knew what he was talking about! It's my go-to tool (and I'm a pretty good cook and have been married for more than 30 years). Love it!!!
I use this product for:everything!!!

If you can only afford one....
I bought one of these from a classmate "just to be nice" to a young fella working his way through college. He tried to convince me to buy more for future gifts, but at the time I was on a tight budget. Now, literally 40 years later, I'm thrilled to be able to buy several from my nephew who now is in college and selling Cutco products. This Spatula Spreader is hands down the most practical and well used knife in my kitchen. I use it not only for sandwiches, but for cutting cheese, tomatoes, onion.....the list goes on! This knife has been used daily for 40 years and is still sharp, with no rust, and no discoloration of the handle. I plan to buy several more for future gifts. It may seem expensive, but I can tell you from personal experience that it is a quality, multiple-purpose knife that holds up over time. If you can only afford one knife, this is the one to buy!
I use this product for:sandwiches, bagels, tomatoes, onions, cheese

Spatula spreader
This is by far one of my favorite Cutco pieces in my collection. We love it! We use it so much that I bought a 2nd one as the first one is always in the dishwasher! It spreads beautifully, and cuts the sandwiches so cleanly. Have to be very careful, as it is easy to cut yourself with this one as much as the other knives.

Good all around sandwich knife
I love this knife, I have had it for over 20 years and use it all the time. I am a big sandwich guy and I always turn to this knife. It's great for spreading, and works quite well for slicing cheese, vegetables and soft meats. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to make sandwiches. The only draw back I have is the price, it is a bit spendy for what you get, but am very glade I have it.

AWESOME!!
I absolutely LOVE this!! Great for bagels & cream cheese and making sandwiches. You can cut onions and tomato and spread mayo & mustard all with one knife. Truly worth every penny... I'm gonna order a 2nd one so that I always have a spare when the other is in the dishwasher. LOVE IT!!!

Cutco Knives
I bought myself the Homemaker +8 in the block and I loved them. I ended up getting a set for each of our daughters and they love them. I was surprised the first time I got a phone call from a young man saying he was a Cutco rep in the area and he wanted to stop by and sharpen my knives. They are definitely worth the money. Our youngest daughter said she didn't need a set of knives that were so expensive. Well she lived with her older sister for a few months and after using her set of Cutco knives said "mom, if you still want to get me a set, I'd really like that"...she fell in love with them too.

spatula spreader
I've had this about 10 yrs. & absolutely LOVE it. Great all-purpose tool for the kitchen. Has held up great & still looks like new - don't put this in dishwasher to keep handle looking new.
I had trouble with a different knife after 20+ years & it was replaced with no questions asked-just turned in the old knife. Can't beat the product OR the service. Thanks, Cutco!

great 4 sushi
Handy for "cut rolls" because it goes right through the seaweed and is wide enough for easy transfer to plates.

spatula spreader
it should be called the Baked Potato Knife.
here's how it works.
take your baked potato, use DD recessed edge to slice the potato 1, 2, 3 times to your preference.
use the spatula to dip a healthy dose of butter into the slices and use it again to scoop out a heart warming dollop of sour cream.
1 2 3 and you're done.

Amazing Spatula Spreader!!!
I can't believe I never heard of "Cutco" as I'm up generally up on all this type of stuff, anything to do with kitchen. Cooking, baking, Gadgets, and short cuts to cooking, I'm all over it. My friend Lena Koenamen, called and wanted to do a demo, sure, why not. I had no intention of buying anything as I really don't need any knives. Wish I could replace all my knives with "Cutco". They are amazing to work with. We ordered the Spatula Spreader and later my husband bought me the steak knives. I love them all! Thanks to Lena, no pressure about buying anything really helped as well. Plan to give as gifts!!!!Thanks Cutco&Lena

Good Knife, but ....
The price was too high. The knife is very handy, but the cost is astronomical compared to what can be purchased today. Find a way to bring costs down without affecting quality!

Great Kitchen Tool
However, I regret the purchase, as the price was too high. The cost of the item was high, plus the shipping, handling and taxes made it astronomical compared to what can be purchased today. Find a way to bring costs down.

Great Multi-task tool!
Being a stay-at-home mom with 4 kids, this do-it-all "sandwich maker" is the only tool any mom would need. It spreads and slices and walla, the sandwich is done.

Best Spreader EVER
This spreader is ideal for serving all types of cheeses. We especially like to use it when entertaining and serving baked brie.
