I've owned these knives for over 12 years and couln't be happier with them. They are still very sharp (I've used the free sharpening service only one in all these years). The handles and blades appear brand new even though they go through the dishwasher several times a week.
I keep them in a block on my counter along with larger Cutco knives but it's the Table Knife that I go to for everyday uses. I probably use these 90% of time. Order more than you think because they are so useful. I use them for cutting/chopping so much that when I need them for table service they are invariably all dirty!
Two more thoughts:
1. When we rent a vacation unit with a kitchen, I bring a few Cutco knives so I don't have to use a dull inferior knife. I guard them with my life and triple check that they don't get left behind.
2. My daughter is getting married and she is only considering Cutco knives because she has cooked for years with me and knows how well they perform.
