my knives were getting so damaged thrown in the drawer banging around all the time. I finally made an investment in the butcher block and not only does it look nice, but also it is so convient to use and the knives stay in sharper.

More than worth the money!
I have had my homemaker + 8 set well over 10 years now. I had one knife blade break at the handle and one the tip broke. I returned them to Cutco recently and they replaced both piece at no charge to me, all I had to pay was the postage to get the knives to Cutco!

Worth every penny
I have had my set for 18 years, and I love them. In our kitchen, the Cutco knives are "the go to Knives". Our Cutco set remain beautiful and durable, while other knives have been short lived or disposable.

GORGEOUS WEDDING GIFT
I bought a set of knives and an oak woodblock as a wedding gift for my son and daughter-in-law. The oak woodblock is absolutely gorgeous and the knives are a dream to work with. I was certain this gift would be treasured based on my own experience with Cutco of over 30 years.
