Long Lasting
My Dad called me up and asked me to get him a kitchen knife. I immediately thought of my mom's knives. She has had Cutco knives since 2000. Whenever she is in the kitchen, the Cutco knives come out. They are still as sharp as the day she got them. I love using them too. My mom has not bought another knife in 12 years. Kinda makes you wonder how the company stays in business :-)
I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE AMERICAN MADE!!!!!

Used constantly
I purchased the 9" & petite carving knives in 1990. Used one or the other at every carved meat meal since. They've also assisted in butchering deer & waterfowl. Never been sharpened & even after 21 years, I still don't feel the need to send them back for service!
I even take them to my parent's every holiday to carve the roast fowl or ham!
I thought they were overpriced when I first bought them but they have definately proved their worth & I am happy to rave about what a value they are!
I own 6 kitchen knives, a set of 4 table knives & the peeler. I'll never purchase another brand of kitchen knife, & I am currently awaiting the arrival of all three sportsmens knives!
I use this product for:butchering deer, cutting veggies, carving roasts & fowl

Showing off your knife may cause envy.
Last Christmas I brought my petite carver to my mother's home as I was the designated cook. She liked my Cutco so much, that she had to have one too! Well, she's got one now for her latest birthday. She just loves it!

Everyone's favorite gift
I bought 4 petite carver's for Christmas gifts to very important people in my life. I recently bought myself the cheese knife. Wow, it cuts soft and hard cheese easily. Also used it to cut bread and frozen meat. I love it! My Cutco knife set is 56 years old and looks like new and cuts like new.

Great, great knives
I have had my set of Cutco knives for over 40 years. I am just packing them up to send them in to be sharpened and to have one where the tip broke off replaced. I love these knives, they cut and cut and cut. I use the petite carver for almost everything, it is my "go to" knife. 40 years and the first time I need to have them sharpened. I have tried other knives, but I always come back to these. Yes, the price is high, but they are AMERICAN made, no made in China here, and the quality can not be beat!! Save up and buy a set, you will never be sorry you did.

9 inch carver
I lost mine and have to buy another. On catering jobs, I make sure it's in view the whole time. This knife is so valuable I can't be without it. No kitchen is complete without one.

Missed my petite carver
This petite carver I purchased is a replacement. I believe I accidently gave away my knife to ARC. I missed the knife so much, I couldn't live without it anymore.

I feel that the Cutco knives are of good quality, a little over priced and I believe that the shipping and handeling is way overpriced. With the cost of the product the S&H should be included. I would purchase more of these knives for my children if that were the case

Best knives ever
I bought a set of cutco knives 32 years ago and still use them today. Other knives don't even compare to cutco. I know its the best investment I have ever made.

Not happy with these knives
I have had these knives for 9 months and have virtually stopped using them. They have the double-D cutting edge and do not cut anything except soft vegetables, such as tomatoes, very well. They are poor for cutting any kind of meat because they tend to shred the meat and do not cut cleanly. I regularly use a knife that I bought elsewhere for less than $10 that works much better. I will be sending these back and exchanging them for straight edge knives that hopefully will cut better.

I Love CutCo.
I'm actually a CutCo salesgirl and received this piece (Petite Carver) in my sample set. Now, if you don't have the Slicer, this is the one I'd recommend for bread, because I myself have not yet been able to get a slicer, but I used this for French bread a few weeks ago and it went right through flawlessly. This is an amazing knife.

9" carver
This is one great knife. But as always be careful as it is very sharp. Cuts like a breez and is fairly comfortable in the hand.

Why would you ever buy anyother knife
I have been using cutco knives for more than ten years and not only do they hold the best edge but they feel good in your hand. I have 8 kids and have a very busy schedule. I would never want to waist my time with dull knives. We love spending time in the kitchen preparing dinner together and the carving knife helps me prepare the meals just the way I want too.
Thanks for making quality that lasts more than a life time!

Shreds Chicken
I bought the petite carver hoping to use it to carve roast chicken. It shreds the meat. I think the serrated edge is not appropriate for carving poultry, regardless of the claims. The knife is otherwise nice but ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

Very Pleased
From the presentation at our home to the actual use of the product in our kitchen our experience with Cutco has been outstanding!
The Double-D edge is amazingly sharp (watch yourself) and quickly became the knife to reach for. I have used it on Roasts, Turkeys and Chickens with great results on each.
It is great when you pull a knife out of the holder and know that it will cut with ease and not need any sharpening.
Yes the price is a little much, but I am supporting an American company (very important) and the quality is well worth the price.
Thank you Cutco for delivering an excellent product!

Simply Wonderful
I was skeptical about spending this kind of money on a knife. While I cannot afford an entire set, I did choose a few knives that I felt would be practical and useful in our home. I am thrilled with the knives I bought and use each of them almost daily!
