Best ever
This is my favorite knife of all time... I buy them in lots of threes... I give them to my true loyal friends who would really appreciate them and take care of them... I call them the Cadillac of knives made right here in New York State... My one friend just told me Monday that she will not let any one touch them and keeps them in a special cupboard...

My absolute favorite knife
I used to sell Cutco years ago and obtained a number of pieces. I still have all but one table knife that has long been lost. In fact, I recently moved from Colorado to Michigan and my Cutco knives are the only ones of my kitchen knives that made the trip. The trimmer is awesome! Since being in Michigan, I have been trimming and cleaning dear meat and this knife works beautifully to fine trim deer roasts and steaks, trim out for hamburger and even slice for jerky. The smaller slim blade and point work great for getting the very best out of the venison. I have learned to make awesome venison jerky and the job would be much more difficult without a really good knife. It goes through the dishwater sometimes twice a day! After all, I am going to need it to slice tomatoes for dinner.
I use this product for:everything!, slicing meats and vegetables

My favorite knife ever!
I love this knife. I've had it for over 19 years and it hasn't needed sharpening. I use this knife exclusively and even take it with me on vacation because no ever has a knife that works as well as this one. I use it for cutting and slicing all types of fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, etc.

never dulls
I've had the trimmer for 16 years along with the larger knife that looks the same and they are as sharp today as the day I purchased them. I use the trimmer every day, great size. I purchased the curved cheese knife at the Nebraska State Fair this fall and wow, talk about sharp and great for cutting. It has more uses than just cutting cheese.

Not for use with Hard Vegetable.
This is a poor blade design. I wish I had used the product before my 15 day trial as I would have returned it immediately. I have twice now attempted to use it to cut carrots and potatoes for a stew and it insists on cutting through them an angle. This is the same result I get with all my serratted knives and as such this preforms no better than the $20 fifteen knive set I was given as a gift. I have a Wiltshire Stay Sharpe that after 10 years cuts through vegetables with a cleaner cut than this knife. Very disappointed, for the price I thought I was purchasing a much better product.
I use this product for:hard vegetable

Best for corn cutting
I'm just finishing my trial period--and this knife will never leave my house! I've used it for tomatoes, fruits, vegetables, breads. But the best is cutting corn. My husband always cuts cooked corn off the cob, and my former knives (good quality) sent nibs flying all over the countertop and cabinets. A scrub job every night. This knife cuts corn with no mess. So add "improves marriage" to its qualities.
I use this product for:corn, tomatoes, soft vegetables, bread, slicing cooked meat

Perfect knife for every kitchen need
When I had an appointment with the sales rep, I asked her only one question after the demonstration that I need a knife to use everyday and with everything. She suggested I get the trimmer and I ordered it. Received it in less than a week and wow what a knife.. loved it.. from day 1 used it for almost everything and love the way it cuts through veggies, meat and what not. Absolutely recommend this to everyone.

My most favorite knife
I got my first set of Cutco in 1975. The trimmer quickly became and has remained my favorite kitchen knife. I like the way it feels in my hand, I like the size, I like the way it cuts - honestly, I can't think of anything I don't like about it. It's a good thing I'm the only cook in the family, because I expect we'd all fight over this one.

Santoku Trimmer
I am so impressed with my own Cutco products that I have begun Cutco collections for our 3 Adult children. Both our sons and a son-in-law are good cooks and they love each piece they receive as much as I love mine! The best part is when I add a piece for them, I fill in what is missing from my own collection.

Most used knife
I have had one of these trimmers for 49 +/- years and it is by far, the knife that gets used the most. I sent it in to be sharpened and it was like a brand new knife when it was returned. Since I get tired of washing it two or three times during meal prep, I finally treated myself to a second one so I could cut my washing time in half. My daughter and son-in-law have a couple of serrated edged knives from a well known, expensive brand that were as sharp as my Cutco when they bought them a few years ago. They no longer are as sharp and they can't send them in to be resharpened. Cutco is the best!

Best Knife on Earth!
The Trimmer is the most versatile, most efficient knife in my kitchen. I had one for 15 years, and it disappeared this holiday season--must have gotten thrown out by mistake with the veggie trimmings! I can't live without it, so I replaced it immediately. There are plenty of other knives on the market, but none are as vital as this one.

Long Life Cutlery
I am ready to replace my Trimmer knife, the one most used in my set. I obtained a full set of knives in 1962 when my first husband sold the knives during his summer break from college. Can you imagine a set of knives lasting over 48 years?
I have been looking at other brands and just can't find anything that I believe will outlast Cutco! Plus, they are made in America!
I highly recommend looking no further than the Cutco product.

This is the best knife I have ever used. I buy it for bridal shower gifts and let them know this is my best knife. If I could only have one-this is the one I would have.

Trimmer Knifes
Of all the cutco knifes we own, I seem to migrate to the trimmer. I use it instead of a steak knife. My wife got jealous, therefore I purchased one for her. Now she doesn't steal mine when we have steak for dinner.
