Works with old cheddar
This is the only cheese knife I have used that allows you to slice aged cheddar. With other knives or slicers, it usually crumbles and breaks. This product highly recommended.
I use this product for:aged cheddar

Best Cheese Knife
I have used this knife for years and it has not let me down. So when I needed additional knife for a second home, there was no doubt I would stick with the best! The handle is perfect size for both men and women. Makes a great gift too!

The best!
I had a large amt of knives and utensils since 1965. Love the product. Have added as need came up. The Cheese knives I recently bought are gifts. I give gifts I like and actually I love this knife. It if the best design for cheese I have ever used. And it works well for other purposes in the kitchen.

What a cheese knife
My wife just bought the 1504 knife at the fair.
I am a die hard Forschner guy. I not only have every knife but in some cases two or three. I clean a lot of fish.
I thought I would try my "Wife's new Knife".
Wow, I just cleaned a whole chicken....and it was still frozen! I mean it sliced through frozen flesh and bone with no effort at all. This is more than a cheese knife. It has stepped up to the top of the class and earned a respectable spot in my knife drawer. Along with the Calphalon Katana, and yes the many Forschner brothers and sisters. I must get this blade in a pocket knife version (Birthday List).

Best knife you will ever own. I got all my kids one. I tried others, nothing compares. After losing my cutco in a fire, this was the 1st thing I replaced. Can't live without it.

Not just for cheese
This is an awesome all purpose knife. Tomatoes, sweet potatoes, celery, carrots, you name it and this knife slices through it like butter! One of the best Cutco knives yet. Our son in law used it this Holiday weekend and raved about it. Thanks Cutco, keep up the good work!

Worth its weight in gold!
The knife was a bit pricey; HOWEVER, it has been worth every penny to me. It works well on cheeses, but what I use it most for is cutting up vegetables. I have arthritis in my hands making cutting them somewhat difficult, but the cheese knife slices through celery, carrots, onion, tomatoes, etc as though they were butter almost. I can slice the thinnest possible slices of tomato and onion with it. It has become my most used and useful utensil.

Best Shees Knife Ever
I have owned this knife for seven years and must say it's the best cheese knife. This knife works for all types of cheese. My daughter has now put this knife on her christmas list. She has enjoyed mine for seven years and now that she is on her own she wants one for her home.

Good knife but very pricey
We are enjoying using this knife very much and I really have no complaints. But it's very expensive. Either I don't know its unique features or it's just too pricey for what it does.
Still, I like it and we use it all the time.
