Sharp, Versatile Kitchen Staple
My mother had a uni-directional peeler that she has had since the 1970's, and she always insisted that it worked fine. However, it was the most dull and difficult peeler to use, and it peeled only for right-handed people who peel relatively smooth potatoes or carrots toward themselves. After getting frustrated when trying to peel lots of potatoes and apples, I bought her the Cutco peeler for Christmas. She mildly admitted that it worked well for carrots and potatoes. She turned into a huge fan, however, when she peeled squash with the peeler. Peeling squash is not the easiest of tasks, especially with a dull, antiquated peeler, but she said peeling squash with this Cutco peeler was like cutting through butter or peeling a thin-skinned carrot. I'ved used this peeler frequently, and I love it, too. Bottom line: This peeler is sharp, easy to use for left-handed and right-handed people, and it peels anything. Definitely worth the investment.

What a find!
I originally bought this for my mother, who has arthritis in her hands. She raved about it so much I bought one for myself, and also for my son who just got his first apartment. It is a success on all fronts. I have never been very adept at using peelers except for carrots, but this one is so easy to use I have no trouble using it for potatoes and other veggies for which I used to use a paring knife. I love this peeler! I plan to buy more for other family members next Christmas!

must have
my mom is elderly and loves to cook, she has used our cutco vegetable peeler for about ten years, when we encountered a problem with it, i was relieved to learn just how eazy it was to have it fixed. My mother insisted that she must have her cutco vegetable peeler because her hands hurt with other peelers. Cutco fixed the issue in a timely manner. I had to order one for my friend because no other peeler comes close...we're hooked on cutco....Go Cutco!!! You Rock!!!!

Sharpest Peeler I've Owned!
The Cutco Vegetable Peeler is the best peeler I've ever owned. It is very sharp and comfortable to use. I didn't realized how great a peeler could be until I used this one. My only suggestion would be a sharper tip for digging out the eyes in potatoes. I would definitely recommend this peeler to a friend...actually...I have! Thanks Cutco!
I use this product for:potatoes, carrots, apples, radishes

Cutco Vegetable Peeler
I looked forward to receiving my peeler but when I used it for the first time I was terribly disappointed. The peele hung up several times BUT still I tried it again a few days later and the same thing happened. I am NOT a satisified customer. Then I find out you only ave 15 days to return items you are not happy with. What is this livetime guarantee????
I use this product for:peeling cucumbers and salad items

I would still recommend calling our customer service center. Our guarantee does cover defects and this may very well fall under that category. Please contact them at 1-800-828-0448 or service@cutco.com

Greatest Peeler EVER
This is a fabulous peeler . As a retired home economics instructor, I have had the opportunity to use peelers in many different kitchen laboratories. No peeler comes close to Cutco. Need to peel 5 pounds of potatoes? No problem with Cutco. Achey fingers are a thing of the past if you are using Cutco. Several years ago I had a Cutco peeler that vanished, and I asked for a replacement for Christmas. Santa obliged and my children thought I was crazy to want a peeler. Two weeks ago my daughter was in town and tried the Cutco peeler. Now she wants one for her 30th birthday! It will be the only peeler she will need for the rest of her life. Go Cutco Vegetable Peeler - you're the best!!

vegetable peeler-,cracked & broken blade
When I had purchased this product, I was under the impression I was getting the best of the best. It peeled my vegetables in a smooth and effortless manner.
I mainly used this product at work(I am a professional cook) and I only ever used it for carrots & potatoes. The blade cracked on one side then a portion of the blade cracked right off and fell out!
I was so disappointed because it was so great when I first got it.
Fail. Now i have to wait X amount of weeks to get it replaced AND pay for the shipping. Not cool.

Cutco Peelers
I love my peeler, I think someone lifted the first one, I think my hubbie threw the other one away, so when the buy three get one free, I purchased 4. Two for me, one for my daughter and one for my favorite aunt. I would not enter a summer of apples, potatoes, cucumbers without my peeler. Wow, cuts your time to nothing and you don't lose a lot of the veggie!

mixed results
While the handle fits really nicely in my hand, sometimes the blade doesn't make great contact with the item being peeled, especially if it is a really large potato. The tip seems to interfere with the blades making good contact. When it does make contact it works really well, like for carrots.

I give this peeler to everyone whose house I ever will help cook in. Won't peel vegetables and fruits without it. It is absolutely amazing. Also, people who visit and use it want one--makes a great gift!!!

Necessary Kitchen Tool
I have a vegetable peeler somewhere in my home that I purchased several years ago; however, it is missing. I looked for it for over a month and still cannot find it. I had to have another, so I ordered this one, I use the vegetable peeler often and just cannot do without it.
Thanks, Cutco, for making my life easier.

vegetable peeler
I have a set of cutco knives and have been very pleased w/ their quality and the way they stay so sharp, so I thought I'd try the vegetable peeler. It's wonerful!! It peels so smoothly and quickly w/ such ease. No comparrison to the grocery store one I've always used. I am giving a couple as Christmas gifts since I'm so happy w/ my purchase.

Excellent Product
I have had a peeler for several years and it is just as sharp as it ever was. We purchased a second home out of state a few years ago and I purchased a cheap peeler for use at that residence. Recently, my husband asked me to trash the cheap peeler (which was very difficult to use) and purchase a second Cutco peeler. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Vegetable Peeler
I have many Cutco products and can't say enough good things about each and every single one. I needed a new vegetable peeler because my old one was broken. I must say that I am not the least bit impressed with the Cutco peeler. It did not seem superior to other brands like all of your other products. It just seemed OK, nothing great. I will keep it but was a little disappointed. Thanks anyway!

Best Peeler EVER!!!
I got this peeler as part of my freebie package when I got my knives, and boy and I happy with it. It’s been almost 5 years and still as sharp as the day I got it. My mom has commented more than once how well it works. It works great for both lefties and righties. I am so glad I got this, because I wouldn’t have paid the price for it, not knowing how great it was. Now I know it is worth the price. I recommend this to EVERYONE when they are looking at Cutco. So worth the money. Our old peelers had life spans of less than 1 year before going dull and we all know what a pain a dull peeler can be. Such a great investment for any cook, or helper.

Awesome!
I'm a CutCo salesgirl and won two of these awesome little gadgets in training. I use one of them as my own all the time and just love it, and the other's gonna be given away as a gift. Very cool.

Really great peeler
At first I thought this peeler was a little pricey. But after using it these past 6 months I've got to say it is the best I've ever owned. The grip is very comfortable in my hands and doesn't slip. The blade is as sharp as the first time I used it.

Great Gift Purchase
My husband and I both love the peeler. All three knives were gifts and they all loved them. We never recieved the Shears holder, instead they sent us a new pair of shears. I still have them in the box and had intended to call you about the mix up. If you could send me the holder and a postage box then I can mail the shears back to you. I love my shears very much and would love to have the holder to protect them. Thank you!

You'll never need another peeler!
I have always hated peelers - none of them worked very well - went through dozens - until I tried the Cutco Vegetabe Peeler! You will never buy another peeler. I frequently give them as gifts; they are so appreciated!
